What is Heroes Club
Heroes Club, powered by RODS Heroes, is a values-centric summer running program for kids designed to inspire the rising generation to create a more inclusive world for all children, while also bringing awareness to RODS Heroes' core mission of inspiring families to answer the call of adoption within their own communities and countries.
The appeal of superheroes is universal. They represent our hopes and dreams for a better world, and their stories of bravery, perseverance, and selflessness resonate with people of all ages and backgrounds. Each child participating in Heroes Club will be taught the values of a superhero and is invited to embody those values to make their community and future world a better place. Our hope is that those participating will be excited about waking up each morning to run alongside their peers for a common cause and feel proud knowing that their efforts are making a difference in ensuring that all children around the world belong to a loving family and inclusive community.

Runner Registration
Heroes club is free and welcomes kids of all ages, backgrounds, & abilities. Whether you're a first time runner or a skilled athlete, Heroes Club is for your family! Your child will be instilled with hero-like values, meet new friends, and have the opportunity to make a global impact by raising money for children who are in need of a loving family. Registration opens May 2nd. RSVP today!
Become a Team Captain
Do you have a heart for making an impact in your community and in children’s lives? Apply to be a Team Captain! We need leaders who will help make Heroes Club possible in cities throughout the world. Our program is a turn-key service opportunity that will make a tremendous impact in building inclusive communities, and advocating for children who are in need of adoption.
Donate
We encourage families to contribute to the program in the form of volunteering at your local Heroes Club, and making pledges to RODS. Your donation can go towards advocating for children in need of a family, providing Heroes grants to families who are adopting, and funding programs, like Heroes Club, to inspire the rising generation to make our world a better and more inclusive place.
How It Works
Step 1: Enroll your child in a local Heroes Club
Step 2: Set a goal and ask for Pledges for Miles Run
Step 3: Attend as often as you are able to
Step 4: Celebrate with your child as they hit milestones
Step 5: Have fun and invite friends to join anytime!

Each Heroes Club has autonomy over meeting times and related club activities. Reach out to your child’s Captain for all important dates pertaining to your club.

Where Every Child has a Loving Family
RODS Heroes is a non-profit organization that has been advocating for children in need of adoption - especially those with special needs and unique circumstances (such as Down syndrome) - for over 10 years. Rooted in “racing for a cause”, RODS Heroes is on a mission to inspire families to answer the call to adopt a child within their own community or country and to inspire the rising generation to create a more inclusive world of those with special needs and unique circumstances. Your donation can be used for advocating for children both domestically and internationally in need of adoption, providing adoption grants to families, and funding programs (like Heroes Club) to inspire and educate the rising generation.
